TeamSports4All supports children experiencing financial hardship to participate in organised team sport. We work alongside families, community organisations and sporting clubs to remove barriers and create long-term, positive outcomes through sport.

About the Role
n
We are seeking a Regional Coordinator to lead delivery of our program across Greater Geelong and Melbourne's Western Region.
n
This is a community-focused role responsible for delivering local impact by supporting families, engaging volunteers, and building strong regional partnerships.
n
You will operate across three key areas:
n
Family support and referral management
n
Volunteer engagement and oversight
n
Regional development and funding growth
n
In community work requires travel across Greater Geelong, Wyndham, Melton, Brimbank and surrounding LGAs is required.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Family Support & Referral Management
n
Assess and manage referrals
n
Support families through onboarding and registration
n
Match children with suitable sporting opportunities
n
Provide ongoing, strengths-based support
n
Coordinate and support volunteers connecting with families
n
Maintain engagement, quality and safeguarding standards
n
Support recruitment and retention of volunteers
n
Regional Development & Partnerships
n
Build relationships with clubs, schools, councils and community organisations
n
Identify funding, partnership and grant opportunities
n
Represent TeamSports4All across local networks
n

About You
n
This role is well suited to someone with strong lived experience and connection to Greater Geelong and Melbourne's Western suburbs, who understands the local community and its challenges.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- A genuine connection to and understanding of Greater Geelong and Melbourne's West
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
- A respectful, culturally aware and non-judgemental approach
n
- High organisation and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently across a regional area within a team
n
- Confidence building relationships with diverse stakeholders
n
- Knowledge of / lived experience with community sports landscape
n
- Passion of making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged kids
n
n
Experience in community services, youth work, sport or similar is desirable but not essential.
