Senior Business Analyst - Insurance Transformation

We are partnering with a leading insurance organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a significant transformation program.

n

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a new insurance product for the Australian market. Working across business, product and technology teams, you'll help shape requirements, support solution design and contribute to the successful delivery of a current digital platform.

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, can confidently engage senior stakeholders and has a proven track record delivering technology-enabled change within the insurance sector.

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will:

n

- Lead business and technical requirements gathering through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
n
- Analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements.
n
- Produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications and process documentation.
n
- Work closely with Product, Technology and Operations teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
n
- Support the integration of core business functions, including claims, payments and other insurance processes.
n
- Identify business impacts, risks and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
n




- Act as the key link between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

n

n
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex technology transformation programs.
n
- Experience within General Insurance or a broader insurance environment.
n
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
n
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
n
- The ability to work comfortably across both business and technology teams.
n
- Experience working within Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
n
- Solid communication skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
n
