Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Supervisor to support the Manager in leading our team at Woods & Co. Cafe - The New Maitland Hospital.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a quick-paced café environment and is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and delivering high-quality food and coffee.

About the Role

n

As Café Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth service, solid team communication, and consistently high standards across both food and customer experience.

n

The ideal working roster will be Wednesday - Sunday.

n

The role will commence in a part time capacity with a view to fulltime to transition into the role when our Supervisor takes Maternity leave.

What You'll Bring

n

- Experience in customer service and coffee preparation within a café or retail food environment
n
- Sound understanding of food safety practices and systems
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow and implement procedures
n
- Confident, clear, and professional communication skills
n




- Pride in food handling and presentation
n
- Experience with cash handling, including opening and closing procedures
n
