Job Description

Our client is a well-established and growing freight and logistics organisation based in Murarrie. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their finance team immediately.

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to commence immediately in a temp capacity before transitioning to a permanent role for the right person, within 1-2 months. The position offers a broad mix of Accounts Receivable, Billings, Collections, Accounts Payable and Reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

n

End-to-end Accounts Receivable processing and customer invoicing.

n

High-volume billings and accurate processing of freight-related charges.

n

Proactive debtor management and collections.

n

Investigation and resolution of customer account queries.

n

Allocation and receipting of customer payments.

n

Processing supplier invoices and Accounts Payable transactions.

n

Preparation of supplier payment runs.

n

Bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations.

n

Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts.

n





Assisting with month-end processes and reporting requirements.

n

Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance requirements.

n

Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of discrepancies.

About You

n

Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Finance Officer or similar position.

n

Strong Accounts Receivable, collections and billings experience.

n

Exposure to Accounts Payable processing.

n

Solid reconciliation skills and strong attention to detail.

n

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

n

Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
