Our client is a leading engineering and metal fabrication business seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team based in Carole Park. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work, great hourly rates, and a supportive workshop environment.

About the Role

n

Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality handrails, balustrades, stair rails, and associated architectural metalwork. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication skills and be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Fabrication of and welding of handrails
n
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
n
- Measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling components
n
- MIG and TIG welding as required
n
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
n
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards
n




- Maintaining a safe and tidy work workplace
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience fabricating handrails, balustrades, stair rails, or architectural metalwork
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- MIG and/or TIG welding experience
n
- Experience using hand and power tools
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliable transport and excellent work ethic
n
