Are you an experienced Service Technician with a strong background in air compressors or other mechanical equipment?

n

We are seeking a highly skilled technician to join a leading industrial organisation servicing customers across manufacturing, heavy industry, mining, utilities, and critical infrastructure sectors. This is a specialist field-based position focused on the servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air compressor systems.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys complex fault-finding, working independently, and building solid customer relationships while delivering high-level technical support.

The Role

n

- Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting air compressor systems across a diverse customer base.
n
- Your responsibilities will include:
n
- Planned maintenance and preventative servicing on air compressors
n
- Fault finding and breakdown response
n




- Mechanical repairs and overhauls
n
- Performance testing and commissioning
n
- Technical support and customer consultation
n
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
n
- Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
n
- Proven experience servicing and maintainin air compressors
n
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Electromechanical Trade or similar
n
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
n
- Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously in a field service environment
n

- Experience with high-speed rotating equipment
n
- Commissioning and performance testing experience
n
- Exposure to compressed air system audits and optimisation
n
