About The Role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionals to deliver evidence-based therapy programs and support clients across a variety of clinical settings.
You will play an integral role in helping clients build independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their individual goals while working alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assisting clinicians with the delivery of individual and group-based therapy programs
- Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified Allied Health professionals
- Supporting clients to achieve their therapy goals
- Preparing therapy resources and treatment environments
- Completing progress notes and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with clinicians across multiple Allied Health disciplines
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, carers and key stakeholders
- Promoting client independence through high-quality therapy support
About You
We're seeking someone who is passionate about Allied Health Assistance as a long-term career and enjoys working within a collaborative clinical environment.
Ideally, You Will Have
- A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Approximately 2-4 years' experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or in a similar support role
- Previous experience supporting Allied Health clinicians in a healthcare, disability or community setting
- A strong understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practice
