About the Role - Monday to Friday Full time 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM role.

You’ll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home and join a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents’ lives every day.

In this busy role you’ll

- Use your can-do, collaborative approach to ensure the presentation of the home is of the highest standard.
- Enjoy the variety of working both inside and outside, the challenge of a multitude of different tasks and the opportunity of getting to know residents as you support them with their maintenance requirements.
- Have good attention to detail, the ability to co-coordinate the maintenance program and excellent record keeping in this interesting role where your general handy skills are highly valued.

- Plans, documents, implements, monitors, and evaluates a preventative and corrective maintenance program for buildings, equipment, and grounds.




- Ensures preventative maintenance and corrective action is conducted according to legal requirements and a documented schedule, including the requirements for essential services.
- Maintains accurate records of the corrective and preventative maintenance conducted.
- Contributes to refurbishment, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
- Contract management of maintenance suppliers, participating in selection, orientation, supervision, follow up of non-conformances.
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety and Equal Employment Prospect principles.
- Focus on continuous improvement.
- Other duties as directed by the Residential Aged Care Manager.
