The Hervey Bay RSL is located on the beautiful Fraser Coast. The Club is the premier entertainment venue in the region experiencing growth in Hervey Bay.

The Club's facilities include:- 280 gaming machines, 4 bars, TAB and Keno, billiards and pool tables, child care centre, bottleshop, 3 functions rooms, 180 seat restaurant, 160 seat deck and 100 seat cafe.

Are you looking for a career where you can be part of one of the most exciting and expanding venues on the Fraser Coast?

The Hervey Bay RSL is seeking a suitable Child Care/ Education person to work in the Child Fun Centre for approximately 15 - 20 hours each week.
n
The Club's child care facility is Adjunct Care offering parents/guardians to place children under the care of our staff for a maximum of 2 hours whilst the parent/guardian remains in the building.
n
Hours of work are currently:
n
Monday to Friday 5-9.30 - plus School holidays - 11-3
n
Saturday 11-3 & 5-9.30
n
Sunday 10.30-3 & 5-9.30
n
n
- Must be available for more hours (days, nights, weekends and school holidays).
n
n
Applicants must hold a current Blue Suitability to work with Children Card and be currently studying or completed either:
n
n
- Education;
n
- child care Certificate II (or III)
n
n
The successful applicant must be a people person and knows how to have fun and can interact with children and supervise their play.
n
Job requirements
n
To be considered for this role, youMUSThave relevant experience, skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry and required certificates:-
n
n
- Must be eligible to gain a National Police Certificate for employment
n
- current First Aid certificate
n
- Be a strong team member, willing to adapt to change and follow direction
n
- Team worker, pleasant vibrant personality
n
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
n
n
