About The Role
n
Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses who are interested in future opportunities within our Rehabilitation and Palliative Care team.
n
Our Rehabilitation and Palliative Care team provides specialised care to patients recovering from illness or injury, as well as those requiring end-of-life care. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you will partner with patients, families, medical staff and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care that promotes comfort, dignity and recovery.
n
Successful candidates will be expected to work a range of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.

About you

Essential
n
n
- - Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- - Previous experience in rehabilitation or palliative care or sub-acute settings
n
- - Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
n
- - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- - Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
n
- - Passion for providing exceptional patient care
n
- - Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
n
- - Working with Children Check
n
- - National Police Check (completed within the last three months)
n
- - Applicable role specific immunisations
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- - Tertiary Certificate or Advanced Diploma in relevant specialty
n
- - Recent clinical experience in relevant care setting
n
- - Computer literacy
n
- - Experience working across multiple hospital departments
n
