As a volunteer Non-Executive Director, you will:

Take part in real conversations about strategy, growth and risk
n
Bring your perspective and ask thoughtful questions
n
Help guide the long-term sustainability of the organisation
n
Support solid governance, financial oversight and compliance
n
Contribute to decision-making that impacts people with disability in our community
n
Board members are collectively responsible for setting the organisation's strategic direction, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting effective risk management.
n
Commitment:
n Bi-monthly board meetings and bi-monthly sub-committee meetings. This is a volunteer role.

Experience relevant to not-for-profit organisations or the disability sector
n
Current National Police Check (within 6 months)
n
Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (NDIS endorsed)
