McArthur is seeking highly experienced Comprehensive/Clinical Assessors for locum roles with a leading aged care assessment provider, linked to one of Melbourne's most prominent healthcare organisations.

This role is suited to seasoned assessors who bring robust clinical judgement, sound assessment experience, and a genuine commitment to helping older Australians live safely and independently - while enjoying the autonomy of locum work.

The Role
n
You'll conduct autonomous, person-centred assessments to determine the care and support older Australians need to live safely and independently at home.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Conduct timely,
holistic assessments that support independence and quality of life
n
- Liaise with families, carers, and service providers as key stakeholders in the assessment process
n
- Manage your own assessment schedule in line with Department of Health timelines and quality standards
n
- Maintain accurate, high-quality documentation and reporting
n
n
Note: This role involves travel within the northern or western metro region.
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- Comprehensive Assessor certification, with recent hands-on experience as a Clinical/Comprehensive Assessor within the Single Assessment Service
n
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health, or Social Work
n
- Strong working knowledge of aged care legislation, CHSP, and Support at Home
n
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
n
- Valid Australian driver's licence and fully insured vehicle
n
- Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week
n
n
