About The Opportunity
n
Reporting directly to senior management , some of your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Developing and improving HSE policies, procedures, and systems across all sites
n
- Conducting risk assessments , hazard identifications, and site audits
n
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
n
- Delivering training , toolbox talks, and inductions to staff and contractors
n
- Managing HSE reporting and liaising with regulatory bodies
n
- Mentoring junior staff and advising site leaders on best practice
n
n
About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in OHS, Environmental Management, or related discipline
n
- Qualified certification such as CECA, COHSQA, or equivalent
n
- 2–5 years' HSE experience , ideally within construction
n
- In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, including QLD-specific regulations
n
- Proven experience building HSE management systems and risk assessments
n
- Strong communication skills across all levels of a business
n
