About the role

The Colour Mixer Machine Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Darra, QLD . Reporting to Operations Manager you will be operating the machines in the factory that produces Rooftiles.

- Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past
- Operating multiple machines, fault finding and performing quality control checks
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S Standards in the work area
- Set up and filling of applicator.
- Quality control checks
- Reset tile machines and start.
- Understand production plan and ensure correct colour and profile being produced.
- Upholding high standards of housekeeping

You will be working day shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required and will be paid as overtime.

What you bring to the role

- Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry (warehousing or large manufacturing environment)
- A strong commitment to safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and absorb current information and skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
