Our Primary focus is to highlight Tasmanian Producers by creating a seasonal farm to table experience in a stunning dining setting.

We have a strong emphasis on quality, creativity and consistency.

We are open 7 days a week for dinner with lunches on Fridays and Saturdays along with special functions and weekend retreats.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in a professional kitchen
- Passionate about quality Tasmanian Produce and our Producer's
- Able to work independantly and as part of a team
- Organised, reliable and able to maintain hygenic standards
- Able to assist with menu development and ordering
- Has their own transport
- Able to work weekends

Hours: 38 Hours per week

Regular RDO's: Wednesday and Thursday

Primary Roster: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Own car essentail.

The Commis Chef is a key member of the Buscombe's Restaurant kitchen team, responsible for assisting with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the standards expected of a high - quality restaurant within Prospect Country House.

The position works under the direction of the Head Chef and Sous Chef and is responsible for delivering consistent food preparation and service across restaurant operations.

The role will provide additional kitchen coverage on the Head Chef's regular days off and will work as part of a structured kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

The Commis Chef is not responsible for the overall management of the kitchen and does not have primary responsible for staff supervision, ordering, stock control or menu management.
