We are a leading packaging company with ongoing growth and are looking for a suitably qualified Maintenance Electrician to support our operations and maintenance department within the Night Shift at our Coolaroo site.

About the role:

n

This role will be responsible for providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution for various machines and equipment within a manufacturing environment.

n

Duties include:

n

Performing preventive maintenance activities

n

Carrying out emergency / break down electrical maintenance as necessary to support plant operations

n

Accurately completely maintenance records and other paperwork

n

Work collaboratively within the team and across the departments

n

In consultation with Production staff, identify equipment and areas requiring attention.

n





Assess and arrange job requirements

n

Daily feedback and reports to Lead on progress and work completed

n

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

n

Electrical Trade Certification / Equivalent License

n

Current Electrical Registration to operate in VIC

n

Previous experience working within a manufacturing / industrial environment (highly desirable)

n

Understanding of Australian workplace health and safety processes

n

Robust attention to detail

n

Be a team player who enjoys collaborating with other departments and working together to achieve best practice outcomes
