We look for specialists with a talent for big picture thinking and attention to detail with the knowledge and knowhow to apply technical theories and concepts and deliver real-world solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Conduct regular travel both locally and interstate at well-established fully operational sites. (On average two to three week travel blocks for max 5 times per year)

n

Carry out operational, planned, and corrective maintenance on a variety of Threat Systems and equipment in accordance with the Maintenance Management Plan

n

Contribute to engineering, maintenance, and procedural solutions in a multi discipline environment, working closely with engineering and logistic support elements

n

Communicate with stakeholders to ensure training scenario outcomes and customer objectives are achieved

n





Tooling and test equipment supplied

n

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

n

Cert III/IV in a mechanical trade such as Diesel Fitting, Plant Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent (Essential)

n

Experience maintaining, repairing, and supporting mechanical equipment in field, workshop, or operational environments (Essential)

n

Experience within Defence, heavy industry, mining, transport, or similar technical maintenance environments (Desirable)

n

Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, trailers, generators, vehicle-mounted equipment, and associated support assets (Highly Desirable)

n

Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and fault diagnosis procedures (Desirable)

n

Proven ability to carry out preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance safely and efficiently (Essential)

n

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills across mechanical equipment and support systems (Desirable)

n

HC Licence (or ability to obtain)

n
