About the Role – Victoria Point

n

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellbeing Mentor / Support Worker to provide dedicated support to two wonderful ladies with complex disability and mental health needs. This role is based across Victoria Point and Slacks Creek, offering a rewarding prospect to make a meaningful difference every day.

n

In this role, you will:

n

Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the client's unique needs.

n

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a Positive Behaviour Practitioner.

n

Deliver personal care in a respectful, safe, and empowering manner that promotes independence and quality of life.

n

Uphold human rights and apply NDIS guidelines consistently in all practices.

n

Implement and manage restrictive practices with professionalism, safety, and dignity.

n





Please note: Due to the client's personal care requirements, this position is open to female support workers only.

n

Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

n

Must be available for occasional overnight shifts when required.

n

Additional shifts and hours may become available for the right applicant as services expand.

n

Ongoing training, mentorship, and career development to support your growth within our organisation.

n

Key Requirements

n

Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health or intellectual disabilities (experience within Child Safety or Aged Care will also be considered).

n

Understanding of restrictive practices and human rights principles.

n

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

n

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.

n
