Ready to get off the tools but stay on site?
Join an established precast manufacturer as its Site Coordinator, visiting one to three Brisbane sites each day between Redcliffe and Yatala. You will check installation quality, identify defects, direct subcontractors and keep builders informed.
No precast experience is required. If you come from formwork, installation, patching, rendering, carpentry, scaffolding or a leading-hand role, they will teach you the rest.
- Fully maintained manual Hilux, replaced within 24 months
- Get off the tools while staying in the site environment
- Run your own day and manage your own sites
- Work from home when there is no site to attend

What You Will Be Doing
- Visit one to three Brisbane sites each day
- Cover projects from Redcliffe to Yatala
- Walk sites and check installed precast panels
- Identify defects and mark up required rectification
- Direct patching crews and installation subcontractors
- Check subcontractors are resourced and on schedule
- Make sure all completed work meets quality standards
- Speak directly with builders and keep them updated
- Pick up the phone and get site problems resolved
- Coordinate installation dates and deliveries
- Coordinate subcontractors and site access
- Check formwork, set-out and access before installation
- Monitor site safety, SWMS and WHS requirements
- Maintain a daily site diary
- Provide updates to the Construction Manager
About You
- Leading hands and construction trades are encouraged
- Hold your ground with builders and subcontractors
- Give clear directions and follow people up
- Pick up the phone and get problems sorted
- Organise your day across several active sites
- Work independently without constant supervision
- Spot poor-quality work and make sure it is fixed
- Be comfortable walking scaffolds, stairs and levels
What You Must Have
- Hands-on construction site experience
- Experience coordinating or directing trades or subcontractors
- Confidence inspecting work and identifying defects
- Computer skills for email, simple Excel updates and printing drawings
- The fitness to spend most of the day walking active construction sites
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Current White Card
