We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious HR Truck Driver / Storeperson to join our team based in Garbutt. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, a strong work ethic, and the ability to safely operate a HR truck and Forklift. Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods, completing local deliveries, and supporting general warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HR truck safely to complete deliveries within the Townsville area
- Load and unload products from trucks and warehouse locations
- Operate forklift and assist with general warehouse/storeperson duties
- Maintain accurate handling and movement of stock
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Complete daily checks on equipment and report any faults or issues
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude when on delivery routes
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational requirements
Qualifications
- Valid HR Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred
- Ability to pass functional and audiometric medical
- Ability to complete drug & alcohol screening
- Completion of online inductions and police check
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
