We're looking for a motivated Assistant Department Manager to support daily operations in our busy Bayswater store. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone with retail or grocery experience who's ready to take on more responsibility, lead by example, and ensure the store runs smoothly day-to-day.

What you'll be doing

n

Supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations

n

Leading and mentoring team members on the shop floor

n

Overseeing stock control, merchandising, and store presentation

n





Serving customers and resolving issues to ensure great service

n

Ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth store operations

n

What we're looking for

n

Previous retail, grocery, or supermarket experience (leadership experience highly regarded)

n

Confident communicator who can guide and motivate a team

n

Reliable, hands-on, and able to take initiative

n

Physically capable of stock handling when required

n

Flexible with availability, including weekends or evenings
