Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, has been engaged by our long-standing client, a leading entertainment organisation. We are seeking a Senior Financial Crime Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Line 2 Risk Assurance function.

Role Title: Senior Financial Crime Quality Assurance Analyst

n

Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney CBD, 3 days in the office

n

Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews

n

n
- Deliver structured Financial Crime Quality Assurance reviews, including agreeing review scopes, testing samples and documenting outcomes.
n
- Assess AML/CTF processes and controls across areas such as customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and transaction monitoring.
n
- Draft clear reports, findings and recommendations while engaging with Line 1 stakeholders to explain and justify assessments.
n
- Work independently on smaller reviews and collaboratively across larger assurance activities.
n
- Support controls testing across both Line 1 and Line 2 functions.
n
- Help improve and automate recurring QA reviews to reduce manual processes and strengthen assurance outcomes.
n

Required Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Around five years of experience within Financial Crime, Quality Assurance, controls testing, risk or compliance.
n




- Currently working within a Financial Crime team, ideally within banking or another highly regulated environment.
n
- Experience completing sample testing, quality reviews and well-evidenced assurance reporting.
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify gaps or inconsistencies within Financial Crime processes.
n
- Confident stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge Line 1 decisions and have difficult conversations.
n
- Ability to work independently, manage competing reviews and maintain quality under increasing case volumes.
n
- Consulting backgrounds may also be considered where there is robust Financial Crime and assurance experience.
