Teacher - Individual Support & Allied Health

This role will be available on Part-time or Casual basis as well for the suitable candidate.

SuniTAFE is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Individual Support and Allied Health Teacher to join our team at the Mildura campus . This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality education in Individual Support and Allied Health, helping students build skills for successful careers and community contribution.

Reporting to the Education Delivery Manager – Languages & Health Services, the role will deliver and assess qualifications from Certificate III to Diploma level across flexible, online and blended learning environments. If you are an Individual Support & Allied Health professional who takes pride in supporting student engagement and success, while ensuring high standards of training, we would like to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

Deliver training programs for individual students utilising a variety of modes as required, structured classes, flexible delivery, online delivery, workplace and blended delivery.

Carry out necessary preparation, correction, assessment, validation and report writing associated with teaching duties.

Assist in the development and implementation of competency-based units in flexible mode.

Provide credible solutions to individual students to maximise engagement and retention, and minimise withdrawals.

Ensure Institute approved student roles are maintained accurately and legibly to the required standards of the Institute’s quality system.





Maintain a portfolio of current original or certified vocational/teaching/training qualifications and evidence of relevant industrial experience and professional development activities.

Assist with the development and implementation of a quality improvement plan based on student evaluation and survey results.

Liaise with students and Student Support Services staff to assist students in areas of identified needs.

Maintain awareness and comply with the Victorian Government’s Child Safe Standards.

The successful candidate willbe requiredto provide:





- A successful criminal record check which is less than 6 months old.
- A working with childrencheck.

Key Selection Criteria:

- Relevant qualifications in the area of delivery.
- A current Certificate IV of Training and Assessment or willing to obtain.
- Relevant skilled industry experience.
- Ability to work with a diverse learner population.
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed skills in teaching including the ability to select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies.
