In addition to our renowned specialised sourdough breads; we create and produce sweet and savoury pastries, sandwiches, cakes and many other delicious hand crafted goods.

About the role

Q Le Baker is seeking an enthusiastic Baker to join our growing team! We offer a supportive and positive working environment with a great team and is ideally suited for someone looking to building a long term career in baking.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years baking experience.

Permanent residency status is required for this position.

Commercial bakery experience is essential for this role.

We have an exciting prospect for someone to join the team specifically working ovens, baking and mixing our premium doughs. Full time hours available for the suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Working collaboratively with Bakery team to achieve efficient production and quality targets
- Operating ovens and production equipment as required




- Confident baking of breads and other baked products
- Prepare, weigh, mix and produce doughs according to established proceduresHand-shaping and handling of artisanal doughs
- Maintaining a safe workplace and responsible operation of equipment
- Ensure consistency, efficiency and quality across all goods.

About You

- At least 3 years professional experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen or similar environment
- Good technical understanding of baking and pastry
- Experience working with sourdough
- Understanding of the basics of fermentation, mixing, proofing and baking
- Organised and able to work to production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
- Takes pride in their work and cares about quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
