The Position
The Quality Control (QC) Officer is responsible for monitoring all quality control activities in the Stores area (e.g. Goods Inwards, Returns to Stores, etc.) and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Stores area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, compile and maintain QC Inspection documentation.
- Proactively coordinate and perform the QC Inspection of Goods Inwards.
- Attend the timely completion of the QC Returns to Stores, as inspected.
- Routinely perform QC activities associated with Kits.
- Plan, implement and conduct QC Cycle Counts, with accuracy.
- Perform data entry and record keeping, with accuracy of input into the inventory management system (IMS).
- Maintaining the warehouse and office area (housekeeping / cleaning).
- Assist with reconciliations, inventory planning, stock takes, and the placement of stock into designated locations within Stores / Warehouse.
- Conduct analysis and process information for continuous improvement.
- Provide verbal and written input to the work instruction process by continually identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement.
- Provide assistance to other Stores officers.
- Support the Supply Chain and Incoming Goods Supervisor to monitor trends and establish QC / Stores KPIs for achievement; for reporting purposes.
- Any other duties as directed including but not limited to, assistance to management and other stores officers.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated knowledge of Stores / Warehousing to carry out specified activities.
- Competent in use of Microsoft applications; experience with PRONTO advantageous.
- Experience with hand tools and moisture handling & component recognition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong data entry skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
- Knowledge of electronic components and QC inspection activities related to them.
- Self-motivated to work autonomously or within a team.
- Customer focused with a timely service orientation
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Baseline .
