Working for a dynamic engineering firm based in Perth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Project Engineer to work on various projects, representing the owner's team on Gold Projects from study through to commissioning.

About The Role

n

Based in Perth, with the chance for future site work, you will support the Project Manager to successfully deliver a number of multi‐disciplinary mining projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget, within schedule and to a high level of quality.

- Assist the Project Manager.
n
- Project planning and reporting.
n
- Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes.
n
- Prepare, adjudicate and award tender and contractor packages.
n
- Manage interfaces with vendors, contractors and sub‐contractors.
n
- Monitor performance of vendors, contractors and sub‐contractors.
n
- Provide on‐site construction support.
n
- Resolve technical and design issues.
n
- Liaise with key stakeholders on technical and project delivery aspects.
n
- Perth‐based role with eventual site presence through construction and commissioning.
n
- Work on local and international projects.
n

About You

n

n
- Able to identify project risks and adopt mitigative strategies.
n
- Package engineering experience highly regarded.
n
- Cost and schedule responsibility.
n
- Estimating and tendering experience, highly regarded.
n
- Previous experience in mining projects.
n
- A recognised engineering degree.
n
- Experience in the mining industry (essential).
n
- Ideally SMP background, but not essential.
n
- Significant understanding and practice of Occupational Health and Safety.
