Seeking Disability Support Workers in Bowral

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a female participant living with Disability. This role is based in a welcoming family home and offers a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, including active sleepovers.

About the Role

n

You will be supporting a participant who resides with his family in a family home. The participant has chosen to remain living in her own home and requires.

Service Days & Hours

Weekdays

- Day shifts
n
- Evening shifts

- Saturday

- Sunday
n
- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
n
- Providing self-assistance support
n
- Manual handling and mobility assistance
n
- Supporting community access and social participation
n
- Delivering consistent and respectful care with a mental health–informed approach
n
- Working collaboratively with family members within the home
n
- Previous experience supporting clients with Brain Injury or similar complex needs (highly regarded)
n
- Mental health experience
n
- Ability to perform manual handling safely
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care
n
- Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
n
- Certificate in Aged Care or Disability is highly preferred
n
