We are looking for a motivated and reliable Metal Polisher to join our growing production team.

n

About the Role

n

This hands-on role is responsible for preparing, sanding, polishing and finishing aluminium bullbars and bumpers to a high-quality mirror finish.

n

Working as part of our production team, you will use a range of hand-held tools and polishing equipment to ensure every product meets AJs quality standards before being dispatched to our customers.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Sand and prepare aluminium bullbars and bumpers for polishing.
n
- Polish aluminium products to a high-quality mirror finish.
n
- Operate hand-held grinders, polishers and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
n
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
n
- Remove scratches, marks and imperfections from aluminium surfaces.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
n
- Handle products carefully to avoid damage during the finishing process.
n
- Follow production schedules to ensure daily targets are achieved.
n
- Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
n




- Work collaboratively with the fabrication and fitting teams.
n

Skills and Experience

n

The successful applicant will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience polishing aluminium or stainless steel (preferred but not essential).
n
- Experience using grinders, polishers and other hand tools.
n
- Excellent attention to detail.
n
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Good time management skills.
n
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
n

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role and applicants must be able to:

- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kg.
n
- Stand for extended periods.
n
- Perform repetitive manual tasks.

- Work safely in a manufacturing environment.
