About the Role

n

Reporting to the Education Manager Jewellery, this role is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing vocational education programs across a range of learning environments.

n

You will support students throughout the learning lifecycle, contribute to curriculum development, and ensure training delivery meets regulatory, quality and compliance requirements. This role suits an industry professional who is passionate about sharing their expertise and supporting learner success.

What You'll Do

- Plan,



deliver and assess vocational education and training aligned to accredited programs
n
- Create inclusive, safe and engaging learning environments that support diverse learners
n
- Support student engagement, progress and wellbeing, including learning plans where required
n
- Develop and maintain high-quality teaching, assessment and learning resources
n
- Maintain accurate training, assessment and compliance documentation
n
- Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities
n
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry, professional bodies and relevant stakeholders
n
- Support student orientation, course selection and learner support activities
n
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices
n
- Maintain vocational and teaching currency through career development and industry engagement
n

- Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry experience in jewellery manufacture
n
- Demonstrated commitment to learner‐centred teaching practices
n
- Sound understanding of VET quality, compliance and regulatory requirements
n
- Well‐developed teaching, communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to develop effective relationships with students, colleagues and industry stakeholders
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n

Desirable

n

- Experience teaching or assessing in a VET workplace
n
- Experience working with diverse learner cohorts
n
- Knowledge of current issues and trends in vocational education and training
n

Qualifications & Mandatory Checks

n

Appointment to this position is subject to meeting the qualification requirements (where applicable)



and the successful completion of all mandatory employment checks.

Teaching Qualifications

n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the qualification requirements under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024 and relevant regulatory standards.

n

You will have:

n

n
- Relevant qualifications in your discipline area
n
- Recent and relevant industry and/or teaching experience
n

n

In addition, depending on the role:

n

n
- Vocational Education and Training (VET) roles:
n

n

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), or a diploma or higher qualification in adult or vocational education

n

n
- Non‐Vocational Education roles (e.g. EAL, AMEP, SEE, Foundation, VCE): A recognised teaching qualification appropriate to the program (e.g. postgraduate TESOL or equivalent), and demonstrated teaching capability through relevant experience
n

n

Applicants who can demonstrate equivalent teaching capability through a combination of qualifications and experience may also be considered.

n

- A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
