We currently require casual Disability Support Workers available for SIL Client based in Toowoomba

n

Male or Female Support worker to provide support to a male participant in Toowoomba 1:1.

n

We have a range of shifts available during the morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and public holidays.

n

Candidates must be willing to complete ACTIVE SLEEPOVERS

n

The shifts on offer are as follows:

n

7am- 9am

n

3pm-6:30pm

n

3pm -10pm

n

6pm-10pm

n

Active Overnight 10pm -6am

n

Female support Worker to provide support to a female participant in Toowoomba 1:1.

n

We have a range of shifts available during the morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekends and public holidays.

n

Candidates must be open to complete sleepover shifts. (inactive Sleepover) $85per night

n

The shifts on offer are as follows:

n

7:00am - 3:00pm

n

3:00pm– 10.00 pm (followed by a sleepover from 10pm-6am)

n

10pm-6am (Sleepover) 6.00am - 7:00am (following the sleepover)

n

As a Support Worker, you'll be an integral part of the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.You will assist with:

n

Assisting medications

n

Assistclients toundertakearangeof daily livingactivities, such as attending appointments, shopping, engaging in community and social activities.

n

Assist clients to undertake personal and self-care activities, such as showering, dressing and eating.

n

Assist clients to undertake domestic responsibilities in their home, such as cooking, cleaning and managing their household duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparationCommunity engagement

n

Assist clientswhohavehighphysical needsand/orbehavioursofconcern.

n

Transferring individuals using hoists and slide board, and general assistance with mobility

n

Provided High Intensity Supports as per Clients Support Plans, including but not limited to: Complex Bowel Care, Enteral Feeding Support, Dysphagia Support, Urinary Catheter Support

n





Coach and build confidence in participants to develop skills needed such as cooking, budgeting and shopping.

n

Attend all mandatory training and willing to undertake complex task training as needed to meet the support needs of our clients.

n

What we are looking for:

n

Must be willing to work across multiple sites and travel between locations as required

n

Cert III Disability (or working towards)

n

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate. (Or willing to obtain)

n

Experience with Manual Handling

n

Reliable transportation for Community Access & Participation.

n

Personal Care

n

Current Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.

n

Queensland Provisional or above Driver's Licence.

n

Current Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card). (Or willing to obtain)

n

Current Paid NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card). (Or willing to obtain

n

Ideal but not mandatory:

n

Cert IV in mental health or equivalent

n

Robust leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

n

Proficiency with technology.

n

Experience working with high-intensity and complex behaviour clients
