The Role: What You'll Own

n

As Pre-Delivery & Logistics Manager, you sit right at the pulse of our dealership network.



You are the conductor connecting sales, transport, trade suppliers, detailing, and final delivery.

n

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll oversee every stage of the vehicle preparation and logistics process, ensuring vehicles move efficiently from arrival through to customer delivery.

n

You'll lead a dedicated team while working closely with Sales, Parts, Service, Transport providers and external suppliers to deliver outstanding operational performance.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

- Logistics & Fleet Movement: manage multi-site vehicle logistics, holding pads, and transport company relationships to keep stock moving swiftly and safely.
n
- Profitability & Cost Control: Identify and capitalize on upfitting/accessory profit opportunities while aggressively driving downturn-around times, sublet costs, and transport friction.
n
- Cross-Department Communication: Act as the primary bridge across our multiple brand sales managers, ensuring realistic, met, and exceeded delivery timeframes.
n
- Accessory & Parts Fitment Precision: Ensure 100% accuracy on every vehicle—every accessory, tint, protection pack, and part fitted right the first time before handover.
n
- Quality & Customer Experience: Safeguard the end-customer moment. Zero flaws, zero delays, zero excuses.
n
- Site & Asset Security: Oversee strict vehicle and key tracking/security protocols across all holding locations.
n




- Team Leadership & Performance: Direct, mentor, and hold accountable your detailing, fitment, and yard staff to high standards without compromising culture.

What We Are Looking For...

- Automotive Pre-Delivery / Logistics Mastery: Proven track record running high-volume PDI or logistics departments in a franchised dealership environment.
n
- Relentless Organization: Exceptional administrative, scheduling, and inventory control habits.
n
- Strong Leadership Presence: Ability to command respect from yard teams, collaborate smoothly with sales managers, and hold third-party suppliers accountable.
n
- Eye for Profit & Process: Understands how saving 24 hours on turn time directly impacts the bottom line.
n
- Tech & Systems Savvy: Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS), vehicle tracking, and stock flow logistics.
n
- Driver's License: Current, clean Australian manual/automatic driver's license.
n
