Experienced Mobile Phone Repair Technician

Quick Fix Mobiles is seeking an Experienced Mobile Phone Repair Technician to join our team in Parramatta, NSW. This is a full time position based at our service centre, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional mobile device repair services to our valued customers. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction whilst contributing to the growth and success of Quick Fix Mobiles.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing and repairing mobile phones and other portable devices, including smartphones, tablets, Macbooks, laptops, and related electronics
- Performing component-level repairs such as screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port repairs, and logic board repairs
- Identifying hardware and software faults through systematic troubleshooting and testing procedures
- Utilising industry-standard diagnostic tools and repair equipment to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
- Documenting all repair work, including parts used, time spent, and technical details in our management system
- Providing clear and professional communication with customers regarding repair timelines, costs, and technical issues
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation whilst adhering to health and safety regulations
- Staying updated with the latest mobile device models, technologies, and repair techniques
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when required

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in mobile phone repair or similar electronics repair work
- Strong technical knowledge of mobile device hardware, software, and operating systems (iOS, Android, etc.)




- Proficiency with repair tools and equipment, including soldering irons, multimeters, and diagnostic software
- Demonstrated ability to perform precise, detailed work with excellent attention to quality
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
- Valid driver's licence and reliability in meeting work schedules
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Knowledge of mobile phone brands including Apple, Samsung, Google Pixel, and other major manufacturers
- Relevant certifications or training in mobile device repair (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with business management systems or point-of-sale software (advantageous)
