We believe children have a right to choice in their learning, which is why our curriculum is grounded in child-led, play-based learning. Through OAC Grow, and embedded experiences across areas such as Active, Drama, Language, Music and Sustainability, children are supported to explore their interests, build confidence and develop skills for life.

With more than 80 campuses across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, we provide high-quality early years education and care to over 8,000 families.

About The Role

Our Sydney campuses are looking to welcome full-time Diploma qualified Room Leaders with at least two years of full-time work experience in an Early Childhood setting.

This is a full-time opportunity with an annual salary of $68,865 to $80,000 + Super , depending on qualifications and experience.

As a Room Leader, you will lead the learning, routines, safety and educator support within your room. You will work with the wider campus team to ensure children are inspired to learn in a safe, engaging and well-supported environment.

What You'll Do

- Lead a safe, inclusive and engaging room environment where children are actively supervised, cared for and supported.
- Plan and implement child-led, play-based learning experiences using the OAC Grow Curriculum, EYLF and NQF.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families through warm,



respectful and responsive communication.
- Guide daily routines, small group experiences, transitions, mealtimes and room responsibilities.
- Document children's learning through OAC Connect and maintain records that support development, planning and QIP requirements.
- Mentor and support educators in the room through guidance, reflection and modelling strong practice.
- Maintain a strong everyday commitment to child safety, wellbeing, compliance and continuous improvement.

Our Sydney campuses are designed to inspire children aged 0 to 6 to grow, learn and discover. Across our campuses, you'll find age-specific learning environments, thoughtfully resourced rooms and outdoor play spaces designed to support curiosity, movement, creativity and connection.

Skills And Experience Requirements

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognised Registered Training Organisation, or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
- Minimum of two years full-time relevant work experience
- Current Working with Children Check, Employee
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Experience with programming, planning and documenting children's learning
- Ability to establish room routines and manage daily room operations
- Experience mentoring or managing educators within the room
- Strong family communication and partnership skills
- Genuine passion for early childhood education and development
- Creative, supportive and cooperative team approach
