My client is a national leader in timber and engineered wood products, and their VIC/TAS team is looking for a sharp, technically confident Customer Service & Sales Support professional who knows how to build relationships, solve problems, and keep orders moving.

This is not entry‑level customer service. This is technical product support, quoting, order management, and operational coordination — the commercial engine room of the business.

What You’ll Own

Customer Service & Sales Support

- Build strong customer relationships and promote our client's timber & engineered wood product range.

- Manage enquiries end‑to‑end — from first call to final delivery.

- Provide accurate quotes, lead times, delivery charges, and product recommendations.

- Maintain proactive contact with key customers to support sales growth.

- Process and validate orders with accuracy and speed.

- Keep customer records sharp and complete.

- Escalate critical issues to the GM when required.

Order & Process Management

- Manage and track VIC indent customer containers.

- Ensure sales and service processes are followed and information is accurate.

- Prepare reports that support operational performance and decision‑making.





Operational Coordination

- Liaise with operations, production, and logistics to confirm delivery schedules.

- Monitor order and production progress, resolving delays before they become problems.

- Adjust schedules and communicate changes clearly and professionally.

What You Bring

- Experience in timber, building products, construction, manufacturing, or similar technical environments.

- Ability to discuss product applications, sizes, grades, and availability with confidence.

- Understanding of residential construction practices and the supply chain from manufacturer to merchant to builder.

- Ability to interpret building plans (bonus but not essential).

- Strong relationship‑building skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

- Resilience, adaptability, and calm under pressure — you handle interruptions and competing priorities without dropping accuracy.
