About the Role
As a Mower / Brushcutter Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides around the City of Casey .
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
- Ability to operate front deck mowersor Zero Turn Mowers and Push Mowers and brush cutters
- Perform routine prestart checks on your daily equipment
- Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
- Complete horticultural tasks as required based our contract
- Follow and practice safety protocols and procedures
About You
- Experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance. Qualifications preferred.
- Manual Drivers licence (preferred)
- Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites will be highly regarded
- Current Working with Children check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
