Position Summary

n

- provide support to clients in accordance withtheir NDIS plan.
n
- Assistclients with daily living activities, such as eating,dressing, bathing and grooming.
n
- Provide transportation assistance to clients.
n
- Provide respite care to clients and theirfamilies.
n
- Keep accurate andup to date records or clients' care plans andprogress.
n
- Communicateeffectively with clients, their families, and other membersof the care team.
n
- Followhealth and safety regulations to ensure the safety andwell-being of clients.
n
- Participate in ongoing career development to staycurrent with latest developments and best practices in the NDISfield.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Female (aged 45 and up) as required by the client.
n
- A minimum of high school or equivalent.
n




- Certificate 3 or 4 in individual supportor willing to work towards completion(highlyregarded).
n
- Lived experienceor paid experience working with people with disability.
n
- Day shift, night shifts, sleepovers andweekends.
n
- Strongunderstanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
n
- Understanding of health and safetyregulations.
n
- Ability to workwith a diverse client base, understanding the differentsupport needs of clients based on their abilities, culturalbackgrounds, and language requirements.
n
- Basic care and first aid skills.
n
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoftoffice suite.
n
- Access toongoing training and development opportunities.
