We are a well-established Chartered Accounting firm located in Osborne Park and are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team.

n

This role is ideally suited to an accountant with a solid background in public practice who enjoys working closely with clients and providing practical business and taxation advice.

n

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries and assisting with:

n

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.

n

Preparation of BAS and IAS returns.

n

Tax planning and compliance advice.

n

Preparation of management reports and business performance analysis.

n

Liaising directly with clients and the ATO.

n

Assisting clients with business structuring and general business advisory matters.

n

Supporting junior team members where required.

About You

n





To be successful in this role you will have:

n

A minimum of 3 years' experience in public practice accounting.

n

Professional qualifications as either a CA or CPA.

n

Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements.

n

Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for a broad range of entities.

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

n

Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.

n

The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

n

Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and APS/XPA would be advantageous.
