About The Role

We are currently expanding our operations and are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about health and integrative medicine.

The successful applicant will be trained in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) over 4-8 week period.
Besides HBOT a key component of this position is managing the clinic’s IV nutrition service.

The successful applicant must have demonstrated IV cannulation experience and will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of IV nutrition treatments in accordance with approved clinical protocols, practitioner directions, scope of practice,



and clinic policies.

Further down the track there is a space to grow within the clinic and learn other treatment protocols offered by the Clinic including HOCATT ozone sauna, Lymphatic Enhancement Technology (LET), Heavy metals and minerals measurement and Digital Infrared Thermography Scans (DIRTS). This will offer a high level of variety and interest to the role.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team setting and excellent communication skills are essential.

We are offering approximately 25 hours per week initially.

Flexibility to cover staff on leave is essential. Availability to start shifts as early as 6am and finish as late as 6pm is also essential. IV experience is desirable but not essential.

Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential.

Demonstrated experience and competency in IV cannulation is essential.

Experience administering IV nutrients or IV infusion therapies is highly regarded.

Genuine passion for, and interest in, an integrative health approach.

You may be required to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Duties Include

Monitor and assist patients as they undergo Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.





Operate and maintain hyperbaric oxygen chambers and associated systems and equipment.

Prepare, cannulate, administer and monitor IV nutrition treatments in accordance with clinic protocols, practitioner prescriptions/directions, and RN scope of practice.

Maintain accurate IV treatment documentation, patient records and relevant clinical data.

Manage IV stock, consumables and equipment, including inventory monitoring, stock rotation, expiry-date checks and ordering requirements.

Coordinate IV-related orders, receive deliveries, check stock against orders, and ensure appropriate storage of supplies.

Assist with the management and coordination of prescriptions required for IV nutrition treatments, in accordance with clinic procedures and applicable requirements.

Liaise with practitioners, nurses and other team members to provide the best possible care for clients.

Participate in training for other modalities to assist with the testing and treatment of patients.

Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions as required.

Assist with other job-related tasks that may arise.
