About the role

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager with day-to-day hotel operations, team leadership and shift execution.

What you'll be doing

- Lead shifts across bar, bistro, gaming, retail and function areas

- Support team members with training, daily direction and service expectations

- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and customer experience

- Assist with rostering, stock, cash handling, compliance and shift reporting

- Respond to customer feedback and operational issues calmly and professionally

- Work closely with the Venue Manager to support team and venue performance

What we’re looking for

- Experience in a pub, hotel,



club or similar hospitality venue

- Confidence leading teams during busy service periods

- Strong customer service skills and a calm, practical approach on shift

- Comfortable working across FOH and BOH duties, including admin and operational support

- Current RSA and RSG required; RMLV/Approved Manager and CLO highly regarded

- Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
