Intercon Engineering is delivering projects across NSW and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical engineering function on a major projects in Sydney.

You will manage the M&E; design, coordination and delivery process — ensuring building services are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time for construction — and lead coordination across the project team, consultants and subcontractors.

Intercon Engineering is delivering projects across NSW and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical engineering function on a major projects in Sydney.

You will manage the M&E; design, coordination and delivery process — ensuring building services are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time for construction — and lead coordination across the project team, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

- Lead M&E; combined-services and builder’s works drawing preparation through to construction‑ready status.




- Manage the BIM coordination process using a Common Data Setting (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360) and tools such as Revit and Navisworks to resolve clashes, routing and design issues and run code‑standards checks.
- Chair M&E; coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and the architectural and structural disciplines to meet design and contract requirements.
- Oversee space‑proofing, equipment‑delivery methodology and installation‑sequence drawings.
- Monitor project drawings, technical data and documentation through design, construction and handover.

Skills & experience

- Tertiary qualification in mechanical and electrical …
- Substantial experience managing M&E;/MEP engineering on major building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong BIM capability (Revit, Navisworks; CDE platforms).
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and delivering to a construction programme.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
