About the role

We are looking for an organised, adaptable and proactive Administrator to join our Business Services team, providing day-to-day administrative support to our teams and offices located across Australia.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering general administration, contractor management, supplier and vendor onboarding, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, compliance, payroll support and office coordination tasks.

As part of the Business Services team, you will be multi-skilled across a range of administrative functions, enabling you to provide support across the team and assist with leave coverage during planned and unplanned absences.

Key responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to our teams and offices across Australia

Coordinate contractor and subcontractor management,



including onboarding, documentation and ongoing compliance

Manage supplier and vendor onboarding and maintain accurate records

Manage requirements through third-party, contractor and client portals

Monitor contractor licences, insurances, inductions, competencies and compliance documentation

Maintain accurate business records, registers and compliance documentation

Action Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing and general accounts administration

Assist with payroll administration, timesheets and data accuracy

Perform general office coordination duties, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our offices

Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and other travel requirements

Provide cross-functional administrative support and leave coverage across the Business Services team

Management and action of Shared Inboxes

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, clients and internal teams

Assist with other administrative and operational requirements as needed

About you

You will ideally have:

Minimum 3 years proven experience in an Administrator, Accounts, Project Administrator or similar role

Contractor management, onboarding and compliance

Experience with third-party or contractor portals highly regarded

Experience supporting AP, AR and payroll functions





Previous experience in an Administrator, Accounts, Project Administrator or similar role

A flexible, multi-skilled approach and willingness to learn different functions across Business Services

Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Confidence working across multiple teams and locations

Xero, Simpro, Workflow Max experience highly regarded

Mining, resources, engineering or contracting industry experience advantageous

About the Opportunity

This role would suit an experienced Administrator who enjoys variety, is comfortable switching between different priorities and functions, and values being part of a team-oriented team.

You will be an important member of our Business Services team, helping provide consistent administrative support across our Australian operations and ensuring continuity of support when other team members are on leave.
