We are currently seeking an experienced Site Administrator to join a major infrastructure project on a 9 month contract.
This is not your typical site administration role. Working closely with a large workforce, this position plays a critical role in supporting payroll, workforce administration, onboarding, compliance, and operational coordination across a high volume construction environment.
We're looking for someone who can thrive in a fast paced setting, confidently engage with a blue-collar workforce, and take ownership of a busy workload from day one.

About the Role
Reporting into the project team, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end workforce administration support for a workforce of approximately 400 employees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing weekly timesheets and workforce payroll administration across both system generated and manual processes
- Coordinating closely with Payroll, HR, Recruitment and site leadership teams
- Managing workforce onboarding, crew changes and employee documentation
- Maintaining workforce records, compliance documentation and reporting requirements
- Acting as the first point of contact for workforce and administrative queries
- Supporting day to day site operations, logistics and general administration activities
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance across all workforce administration processes
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role,
you'll bring:
- Previous experience in high-volume payroll administration and workforce coordination
- Strong understanding of timesheet processing and payroll related compliance requirements
- Experience working within construction, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced operational environments
- The confidence and maturity to engage with a large blue-collar workforce
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems
What Will Set You Apart
Candidates with experience managing:
- Weekly payroll cycles
- Large workforce populations (300+ employees)
- Construction or project-based workforces
- Complex timesheets, allowances and workforce movements
will be highly regarded.
Important Information
This role requires a strong commitment and onsite presence:
- Monday to Friday
- Onsite position
- Start time no later than 8:00am
- Approximately 9 month engagement
