Job Description – Dev/Tech (Principal)Lead

n

Role Purpose

n

The Dev/Tech (Principal) Lead owns the end‐to‐endtechnical architecture and engineering standards for business‐criticaldigital platforms. This role is a hands‐on technical leadership position,not a people‐only lead, responsible for ensuring solutions are secure,scalable, cloud‐native, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Architectural Leadership

n

- Drive architecture and design decisions aligned with business outcomes.
n
- Defineand enforce reusable design patterns and frameworks.
n
- Apply Domain‐Driven Design (DDD) principles.
n
- Ensure security by design, scalability, and resilience.
n
- Leadand review feature‐level technical designs.
n
- Driveadoption of contemporary engineering frameworks and practices.
n
- Leadcomplex internal and external system integrations.
n
- Remainhands‐on where needed across backend, frontend, cloud, and CI/CD.
n

Cloud, DevOps & Automation

n

n
- Architectand optimize multi‐cloud solutions (AWS & Azure).
n
- Defineand govern CI/CD standards and reusable pipelines in GitLab.
n




- Mentorteams on IaC best practices using Terraform.
n
- Establishrelease management governance.
n

n

Observability, Performance & Cost

n

n
- Establish observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, alerting).
n
- Monitorperformance, reliability, and availability using cloud‐nativemonitoring services.
n
- Drive cost optimization, capacity monitoring, and performance tuning.
n
- Automateoperational and service management tasks.
n

Quality, Testing & FrontendLeadership

n

n
- Definetesting strategies across unit, integration, and E2E testing.
n
- Ensuretesting is embedded in CI/CD.
n
- Overseeadvanced frontend practices including React optimization and ModuleFederation.
n
- Enforceaccessibility and quality standards.
n

Data & Platform Design

n

n
- Definedata strategies:
n
- Relationalvs NoSQL selection.
n
- Shardingand partitioning for NoSQL where applicable.
n
- Ensure HA/DR, scalability, and resilience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Provenexperience as a Technical Lead / Principal Engineer in cloud‐nativeplatforms.
n
- .NET

- ReactJS

- Terraform
n
- StrongDevOps mindset with hands‐on CI/CD experience.

- Abilityto mentor Senior and Junior engineers at a technical level.
n
- Strongunderstanding of service management, automation, and operations.
n
- Mustperform Dev Lead or Tech Lead duties, not just coordination.
n
- Mustbe capable of delivering architecture and designs without client FTEdependency.
n
- Accountablefor solution quality, performance, cost, and operational readiness.
