We are seeking a skilled Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator to join a growing team delivering major civil infrastructure projects across Melbourne's western suburbs. This is a casual-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent full-time hours, ongoing projects and excellent earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate GPS-equipped excavators on civil construction projects
n
- Perform high-quality final trim work to specification
n
- Trenching and batter excavation
n
- Bulk excavation and loading activities
n
- Read and work from plans and GPS machine control systems
n
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
n




- Work closely with supervisors and site crews to ensure project deadlines are achieved
n
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality on site
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 6 years experience operating excavators on civil construction sites
n
- Proven final trim experience (essential)
n
- Experience undertaking trenching, batter work and bulk earthworks
n
- GPS machine control experience (highly regarded)
n
- Current Excavator Ticket (essential)
n
- White Card
n
- Additional machinery tickets (loader, roller, skid steer, etc.) highly advantageous
n
- Robust understanding of civil construction safety standards
n
- Reliable transport and the flexibility to travel to various project locations
n
- Excellent attention to detail and machine operating skills
n
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
