Job Description
We are looking for energetic, support workers to join our In-Home Support team at Belmore, NSW!
n
The base shift availability is below (with flexibility preferred):
n
8am-4pm Monday to Friday
n
Monday Afternoon shift
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
- Support daily living with purpose: Help participants build confidence and independence in their everyday routines
n
- Encourage independence: Empower our clients to make choices and build confidence in their own abilities
n
- Stay connected: Join participants in community activities, social programs, and outings like shopping or events
n
- Collaborate with care: Work closely with participants, their families, and key supports to understand their goals and preferences
n
- Keeping things on track: Maintain clear and accurate records, review support plans, and follow best-practice guidelines
n
- Champion rights and voice: Help participants express their views, raise concerns, and feel heard and respected
n
- Look out for safety: Identify and report any risks or concerns to your supervisor promptly
n
- Uphold best practice: Only use approved, trained restrictive practices when required and always with care and compliance.
n

What we need from you?
n
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC (if required)
n
- First Aid Certificate
n
- Driver's License
n
- Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
- New Worker NDIS Induction Module
n
- Completion of New Worker NDIS Induction Module is required before commencing employment
n
- Explicit Police Check
n
- Smartphone
n
- A formal certificate may not be required if the individual has relevant experience and skills – recommended qualifications Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.
