True Blue Care is seeking reliable and caring Drivers to join our team and support students travelling safely to and from school.

n

This is a rewarding opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in the daily lives of students and their families.

About the Role

n

As an ASTP Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school in accordance with the NSW Department of Education Assisted School Travel Program requirements.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Safely transporting students between their homes and school
n
- Ensuring students are safely supervised during transport
n
- Following the allocated route and daily travel schedule
n
- Providing a safe, respectful and professional setting for students
n
- Communicating appropriately with parents, carers, schools and True Blue Care
n
- Reporting any incidents, concerns or changes affecting the transport service
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and suitable vehicle environment
n
- Following all relevant safety, child protection and ASTP procedures
n

About You

- Safety-focused and able to follow procedures
n
- Able to communicate effectively with parents, carers and schools
n
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
n
- Committed to providing a high standard of care and service
n

n

Previous experience working with children, students or people with disability is desirable but not essential.

n

Essential Requirements

n

Applicants must:

n

n
- Hold a current and valid NSW driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven
n
- Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Have a satisfactory driving record
n
- Meet the required medical fitness standards
n
- Complete the required ASTP driver application and documentation
n
- Successfully pass the NSW Department of Education's required probity assessment
n
- Meet all other requirements applicable to ASTP drivers
n

Important: All drivers must be approved through the NSW Department of Education ASTP driver application and probity assessment process before commencing ASTP services.
