COLD Storage Voice Pickers Wanted - Eastern Creek Location

Our business partner based in theEastern Creek areais aAustralianOwnedorganization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry.

This position will be working in the Chiller and Freezer room, if you are unable to work in cold environments please do not apply.

n

Pay rate will be $37.38 per hour!!! probation rate. after 6 months pay rate will be increased to $42.86 per hour

n

DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE Monday - Friday with Saturday work where required. Flexibility will be required as the hours per day will be up to 10 hours daily.

n

Start times will be as below. Between 7am and 9am shifts start times - flexibility will see you stand out from the crowd.

n

Training will be provided, if you are keen with a willingness to learn, flexible and looking for stable work.

n

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:

n

n
- knowledge of the warehousing industry
n
- Previous experience operating and Electric Pallet Jack EPJ
n
- Previous experience working in cold Storage - Freezers and Chiller minus5 degrees and possibly minus28 degrees
n
- Experience with Pick & Pack and knowledge oncarton stackingon pallets
n
- Previous experience withVOICE PICKING
n




- Experience with pallet stacking
n
- MUST be adaptable for the mentioned start times
n
- flexible as there maybe standby shifts rostered
n
- Forklift licence and experience with high reach( DESIRABLEBUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
n
- Flexibility to work overtime and ability to work day or afternoon shifts where required.
n
- Physically fit and in good health
n
- Good communication skills
n
- Astrong & reliablework history
n
- 2 x work related referees
n
- must be available to overtime and possible weekends where required
n
- Must have a current Drivers License & own reliable transport
n
- Team Player
n

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Safe operation ofElectricPalletJack
n
- Current Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
n
- Voice picking experience highly regarded
n
- Demonstrating a sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
n
- Competent level of numeracy & literacy skills
n
- Initiative to make a contribution to the business
