Are you an Unrestricted Building Surveyor ready to take the next step into a leadership role? Our client is a well-established and highly respected private building certification consultancy with a strong reputation across New South Wales. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Unrestricted Building Surveyor to join the business in a Director-level capacity.

The Opportunity

n

As a Director, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and business leadership. You'll work alongside an experienced team of certifiers while overseeing major commercial developments, mentoring staff and fostering long-term client relationships. This role offers significant autonomy, a collaborative culture and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established business.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assess and certify a diverse range of commercial developments.
n
- Provide expert advice on the Building Code of Australia (NCC), relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
n
- Conduct site inspections and issue statutory certifications.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
n
- Mentor and support junior surveyors and certification staff.
n
- Contribute to business development, operational strategy and team leadership.

- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest professional standards.
n

About You To be considered, you will have:

n

n
- Unrestricted Building Surveyor accreditation in New South Wales (essential).
n
- Extensive experience delivering commercial building certification projects.
n
- Strong working knowledge of the NCC, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, Building Code and associated legislation.
n
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Commercial acumen with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
