We're looking for mechanically minded Trade Assistants to join an industrial machinery workshop in Geebung .

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll assist with the maintenance, repair and rebuild of heavy vehicles, hydraulic equipment and mechanical components in a busy workshop workplace.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the heavy mechanical industry , with ongoing training, overtime and career progression available.

The Role

Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you'll be involved in a range of mechanical workshop duties, including:

- Assisting with the strip-down, repair and rebuild of trucks, trailers and hydraulic equipment
- Supporting fault-finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs
- Assisting with hydraulic installations and component replacements
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Preparing components for assembly and installation
- Performing general workshop duties while maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About You

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Previous mechanical, hydraulic or heavy vehicle experience




- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic hand tools are advantageous but not essential
- Trade Assistants, mechanically minded candidates, and 1st or 2nd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
