Job Description
Muney Group is an Australian financial services group with big ambitions for its next stage of growth.
n
The Group is home to two complementary businesses.
n
Credit Repair Australia is Australia's market leader in credit restoration. Over the past 24 years, we have helped more than one million Australians understand and improve their credit position.
n
Muney is our financial coaching business, helping Australians take control of their money, reduce debt and make meaningful progress towards their financial goals.
n
Together, we are a team of more than 100 people who genuinely care about helping our customers move forward.
n
We have strong foundations, proven services, significant customer demand and a business model that works. Now, we want to take what we have built and grow it to another level.
n
Why this opportunity stands out
n
This is a hands‐on executive role with real influence.
n
You will report directly to the CEO, operate as part of the Executive Leadership Team and help shape:
n
The Group's marketing and growth strategy
n
Future products, offers and customer journeys
n
The channels and customer segments we pursue
n
The agencies, specialists and capabilities we invest in
n
The continued growth of our digital and software‐enabled service model
n
You will not simply inherit a finished plan and administer it. You will help decide where the opportunities are and how we pursue them.
n
The role
n
We are looking for a commercially minded marketing and growth leader who understands how to turn stronger ideas, better offers and effective campaigns into measurable sales growth.
n
This is a senior role, but it remains hands‐on.
n
You will stay close to the offers, creative, campaigns, funnels, conversion data and customer journey. You may present strategy to the Executive Leadership Team one day and review a VSL, strengthen an offer or analyse funnel performance the next.
n
Hands‐on does not mean doing every task yourself.
It means understanding the work deeply enough to identify opportunities, diagnose problems, make sound decisions and step into execution when required.
n
What you will own
n
Your focus will be the full customer journey, including:
n
Qualified lead and appointment growth
n
Lead quality and lead‐to‐sale conversion
n
Social and digital acquisition
n
Agency leadership and accountability, ensuring external partners deliver against agreed commercial outcomes
n
Referral‐partner channel performance, including lead quality, conversion and return
n
Retargeting, MOFU and BOFU campaigns
n
Offer development and testing
n
Funnels, VSLs and webinars
n
Email, SMS and database marketing
n
Content distribution and podcast utilisation
n
Customer segmentation, retention and ascension
n
New products, channels and digital experiences
n
You will use marketing, sales, customer and user data to identify where the next growth opportunities exist.
n
You should understand concepts such as self‐liquidating funnels, tripwire and low‐ticket offers, one‐time offers, upsells and low‐ticket‐to‐high‐ticket ascension.
n
Your immediate priorities
n
Your initial focus will be to:
n
Increase qualified lead and appointment volume
n
Strengthen social acquisition, retargeting and nurture
n
Build a faster, more disciplined approach to creative, audience and offer testing
n
Improve commercial reporting across marketing and sales
n
Identify opportunities within our existing customer and prospect data
n
Develop and begin implementing a practical Group growth plan
n
Success will be measured by how effectively marketing contributes to sales, customer value and sustainable growth, not simply by cheaper leads.
n
The person we are looking for
n
You are likely to be a strong fit if you:
n
Have senior B2C direct‐response or growth marketing experience
n
Have managed significant marketing or customer‐acquisition investment
n
Understand offers, funnels, online sales and conversion
n
Have grown acquisition through social and digital channels
n
Have proven experience across Meta, TikTok and broader digital acquisition
n
Bring strong direct‐response copywriting skills across advertising, offers, scripts and conversion assets
n
Can confidently direct, challenge and hold external agencies accountable
n
Can connect marketing performance to actual sales
n
Have robust creative judgement across UGC, advertising, hooks and offers
n
Understand CRM, email, SMS and database marketing
n
Are confident operating at Executive Leadership Team and Board level
n
Can set strategy while remaining willing to work through the detail
n
Experience with high‐ticket services, financial services, referral‐partner channels, app marketing, software‐enabled services or recurring‐revenue models would be highly regarded.
n
You will care about brand, visual quality and customer experience without allowing perfectionism to slow testing and progress.
n
You will be comfortable working with a lean internal team, contributing personally and using external specialists where they create value.
n
A genuinely flexible executive role
n
This is a 90% work‐from‐home position.
n
We come together at our Liverpool, NSW office approximately two days each month for leadership meetings, planning and collaboration.
n
Sydney‐based candidates are preferred.
n
The role includes an attractive executive remuneration package, plus participation in the company's Executive Leadership Team performance bonus.
